EXCELLENTVerified An excellent tour with an excellent guide This was a well paced, fun, informative and comfortable tour with a good mix of driving and walking and the welcome option of stopping at great coffee and lunch spots. It took us through spectacular scenery and key points of interest. Our guide, ROSINA, was terrific, adapting to our particular interest in cultural, historic and environmental background and offering personal insights. I contacted Rosina in January and asked her to build our itinerary for the short time we had in Cape Town. Communication was excellent and Rosina put together 5 days of tours and experiences we will all remember for years to come. From her picking us up at the airport to dropping us back off there 6 days later the service was outstanding. Rosina's knowledge of the area and history of the Cape is second to none and it was fascinating to listen to her tell of the culture and also hear personal stories about growing up in SA. Rosina took great care of us during our 5 days with her and became a real friend to the family; nothing was too much for her. There were a couple of times we couldn't do what we wanted due to the effects of a recent storm but alternatives were offered and duly taken. Rosina was very prompt on morning pick ups so no time was wasted waiting for transport which again allowed us to make the most effective use of our time. If you are looking for a tour guide in Cape Town - either for the whole time like us, or simply a day trip, you will not be disappointed with Randy's. As before we used them for airport transfers and day trips to Cape Point, the wine lands and the Cape Peninsula. Faried and Rosina are punctual, knowledgeable, flexible, helpful, good fun and professional. Their cars are clean, safe and comfortable. Time spent with either of them is much more than a conventional “day trip”. ThankyouVerified Two one-day tours of winelands & Cape Hope My wife and I were in Cape Town in a cruise ship in dock for the final two days of our holiday. We pre-booked Randy’s Tours for two consecutive days tours and also a port to airport transfer at the end of the second day. The two day tours were conducted by Rosina. She was on time both days. Her saloon car was very smart and clean. On the first day we went to four wineries in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, as well as stopping at the Franschhoek Cafe for lunch, which we highly recommend for quality & value. Rosina gave us a good historical insight as well as demonstrating her knowledge of individual wineries. She tailored the choices to suit what we liked. The settings and scenery were fantastic. The second day Rosina picked us up and took us to the Cape Peninsular that took in a lovely scenic drive to and from the Cape of Good Hope. We also went to the Cape Lighthouse and the penguins at Boulders Beach. We had a tasty lunch in the bay close to the penguins (a short walk away). Rosina timed the itinerary to try and avoid the crowds as these are popular locations. On both days she returned us to the ship at the time we wanted. Her husband Faried picked us up at the ship in the early evening to take us to the airport in a large minibus. We brought forward the pickup time at fairly short notice but Faried was on time and waiting. On speaking to Rosina throughout the two full days we were with her she also alluded to other multi-day tours they do along the Garden Route. If we were to go back to Cape Town we would have no hesitation in booking this family-run company to look after our tours and transfers.
