Four Days, Three NightsAbout The Garden Route Tour:
Discover the enchanting coastal expanse of the Garden Route by embarking on a Private Four Day – Three night Garden Route Tour. Spanning from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to the Storms River in the east. Renowned as a holiday haven, this region is celebrated for its magnificent natural vistas, challenging golf courses, ancient woodlands, pristine beaches, and idyllic lagoons. The striking mountain ranges of Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma are noteworthy, separating the Garden Route from the arid Little Karoo.
Immerse yourself in luxuriant forests or traverse many beaches, each surpassing the other in beauty. Explore delightful coastal towns or embark on a safari adventure.
The Garden Route Tour takes place in one of the nation’s most picturesque areas and offers a multifaceted experience. There is plenty to see and do from the Cango Caves
to the Ostrich Farms.
Day 1
Depart Cape Town for Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich Capital of South Africa.
Along the way we will be passing scenic country towns on the Klein Karoo via the Route62, offering a kaleidoscope of ever-changing scenery.
Optinal lunch stop in Barrydale and then onwards via the magical and tranquil Route 62 to Oudtshoorn where we overnight.
Day 2
After a hearty Karoo breakfast we explore the world famous Cango Caves.
If the Stalactites and Stalagmites did not impress you then certainly a close encounter with a croc or lion at the Croc and Cheetah farm would do the trick.
If that does not do the trick then a ride on the ostrich should do it.
We then depart for Knysna where we overnight.
Day 3
A day of relaxation and of exploration.
After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to the Tsitikamma forest where we will find large tracts of indigenous forest and the breathtaking Storms river mouth.
After lunch we head to Knysna lagoon for a relaxing boat ride to the Knysna head.
We overnight in Knysna.
Day 4
Unfortunately we have to depart for Cape Town but along the way we visit the towns of Mossel Bay where we visit the Dias Museum and the Old Post Office Tree.
Rolling farmlands take us to Hermanus, a town popular because of the Southern Right Whale during June and November.
We arrive back in Cape Town after four fantastic days.
